Trade facilitation<\/strong><\/p>\n Costain and GHD were appointed to ensure the project aligned with the UK\u2019s Border 2025 strategy, focusing on efficient trade facilitation and streamlined infrastructure spending.<\/p>\n The collaboration harnessed expertise in logistics, port operations and data analytics, integrating diverse data sources such as Mobile Network Data.<\/p>\n It has resulted in a streamlined process that delivered over GB\u00a3300 million in savings and reduced supply chain costs by GB\u00a31 billion annually. Additionally, Costain and GHD developed a Borders Curriculum to enhance the Cabinet Office\u2019s knowledge, boosting internal capabilities by 60%.<\/p>\n Matt East, sub-sector lead at GHD, added: \u201cThis project has not only fortified the Cabinet Office\u2019s operations but also set new standards in border trade management.
