Bambang Susantono, vice minister of transportation, said: \u201cThe application of such system will strengthen and accelerate Inaportnet (Indonesia Port Net System) implementation. As the Inaportnet is a vital element of Indonesia domestic and international connectivity, enhancing connectivity will undoubtedly improve logistic performance and increase Indonesian economy competitiveness.\u201d<\/p>\n
Frank McCosker, managing director, global strategic accounts, Microsoft, added: “With the increasingly complex demands of global trade, and mounting pressure on ports across the world to effectively manage both security concerns and facilitate trade, there has never been a more pressing need for an open, integrated and innovative solution for the e-maritime industry.\u201d<\/p>\n
