Record volumes were achieved across a number of cargo types, including containers which rose 7.2% to 376,567 teu.<\/p>\n<p>Marsden Maritime Holdings (formerly Northland Port Company) achieved a 23.7% rise in net profit to NZ$8.3m (albeit including net property sale gains) and an 8.5% lift in revenue to NZ$10.5m. The result was assisted by Northport, in which it has a 50% stakeholding, achieving a 6% rise in total cargo throughput to a record 3.3m tonnes.<\/p>\n<p>A record net profit of NZ$6.7m (up 2.8%) and revenue of NZ$31.3m (up 7%) was achieved by South Port.
