The new generation Liftace 5-31 reach stacker, which combines TPS, PPM and Fantuzzi technology, has a wheelbase of 6,200mm and can stack up to five high-cube containers in the first row, with typical load configurations of 45 tonnes in the first row, 31 tonnes in the second and 15 tonnes in the third row.<\/p>\n

An ergonomic cab, developed following co-operation with drivers and experts, makes for safe, comfortable and productive operation. The cab offers low interior noise and a clear view, an ergonomic joystick and a seven inch graphic display. TPS also offers a range of options including reversing sensors and a camera system. It can be manually adjusted as standard for service access and an optional powered sliding cab is also available. <\/p>\n
Terex says the design of the new Liftace 5-31 was driven by lower operation costs, compared to previous models. Its low overall weight and engine and gearbox with the drive axle and good load distribution of its chassis results in reduced tyre wear. The modern drive train, combined with load sensitive hydraulic system is said to reduce fuel consumption, which is further improved by its EcoPower operation mode. <\/p>\n
