{"id":4359,"date":"2015-12-15T21:13:00","date_gmt":"2015-12-15T21:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/portstrategy.nfdtesting.uk\/coastlink\/2015\/12\/15\/ilwu-guilty-of-labour-violations\/"},"modified":"2026-08-27T15:39:09","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T14:39:09","slug":"ilwu-guilty-of-labour-violations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.portstrategy.com\/coastlink\/2015\/12\/15\/ilwu-guilty-of-labour-violations\/","title":{"rendered":"ILWU guilty of labour violations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The law was broken by engaging in coercive activity directly against ICTSI Oregon at Terminal 6 in the Port of Portland.<\/p>\n<p>Elvis Ganda, president and CEO of ICTSI Oregon, said: \u201cThe importance of this ruling should not be underestimated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOnce again, the NLRB, a natural federal agency charged with enforcing the nation\u2019s labour laws, has found that the ILWU\u2019s slowdowns and other efforts to interfere with production at Terminal 6 were illegal,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>This is the second time in ten weeks that the NLRB has declared the ILWU guilty.
