Supplied by Kalmar, part of Cargotec, the Gloria reach stacker has a 45 tonne total lift capacity and offers three ECO driving modes \u2013 namely power, normal and economy. Kalmar says this feature makes it the most energy efficient reach stacker on the market today. It also features an automatic stop-start function, which is said to reduce emissions and fuel efficiency by up to 10%.<\/p>\n

Said to be the first of their kind in Asia, the four new units are stationed at ICTSI\u2019s Manila International Container Terminal (MICT) and at the new container terminals 1 and 2 at the Subic Bay Freeport.<\/p>\n
Volumes have be on the rise as a result of containers coming in and out of the island of Luzon. ICTSI\u2019s plan is to raise the capacity of its Subic terminals to establish it as northern and central Luzon\u2019s next gateway port, rather than just a spill over terminal for cargo from Manila.<\/p>\n
