{"id":4945,"date":"2012-12-17T15:27:00","date_gmt":"2012-12-17T15:27:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/portstrategy.nfdtesting.uk\/coastlink\/2012\/12\/17\/hoegh-autoliners-joins-campaign-for-cleaner-shipping\/"},"modified":"2026-08-27T15:43:18","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T14:43:18","slug":"hoegh-autoliners-joins-campaign-for-cleaner-shipping","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.portstrategy.com\/coastlink\/2012\/12\/17\/hoegh-autoliners-joins-campaign-for-cleaner-shipping\/","title":{"rendered":"H\u00f6egh Autoliners joins campaign for cleaner shipping"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The port&#8217;s campaign for a cleaner marine environment has been running since 2011 and rewards vessels that switch to low sulphur fuel when operating in Gothenburg with financial compensation.<\/p>\n<p>H\u00f6egh Autoliners recently registered seven vessels for participation in the campaign which will continue throughout 2013.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c5sa Wilske, senior manager of sustainability at the Port of Gothenburg, said: &#8220;Through this campaign we are seeking to encourage shipping lines to switch to low sulphur marine fuel. We now hope that even more companies will join the campaign during 2013.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Trond Sjursen, head of European operations, H\u00f6egh Autoliners, added: &#8220;The Port of Gothenburg environmental campaign is a way for us to reduce our environmental footprint. This is an ongoing part of our operations.
