{"id":4988,"date":"2013-03-25T17:38:00","date_gmt":"2013-03-25T17:38:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/portstrategy.nfdtesting.uk\/coastlink\/2013\/03\/25\/hpa-receives-energy-excellence-award\/"},"modified":"2026-08-27T15:43:45","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T14:43:45","slug":"hpa-receives-energy-excellence-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.portstrategy.com\/coastlink\/2013\/03\/25\/hpa-receives-energy-excellence-award\/","title":{"rendered":"HPA receives energy excellence award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The award recognises the authority\u2019s current lighting retrofit of its multi tenanted warehouse which has more than 325,000 sq ft of storage and office space.<\/p>\n<p>The retrofit involves the replacement of 1,200,400 watt sodium vapour light fixtures for high efficiency light fixtures and motion sensors. When complete, the retrofit is expected to result in annual savings of around 940,000 kWh and the project is expected to pay for itself within a year.<\/p>\n<p>Bruce Wood, CEO and president, HPA, said: \u201cThe project has delivered great results for us and for our tenants.
