The three Hyster H1050HD-CH trucks feature a Tier 4 Final Cummins engine rated at 363 horsepower that Hyster says is right-sized to lower fuel consumption by up to 20%, but strong enough to deliver hoist speeds of 59 feet\/minute and lowering speeds of 98 feet\/minute (no load) for high productivity.<\/p>\n

Hyster\u2019s latest series provides an integrated drivetrain with an emission reduction package that includes cooled exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), and a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system for nitrogen oxide reduction.<\/p>\n
This integrated powertrain design includes engine protection from excessive temperatures and pressures and a torque derate strategy. The company says together, these features deliver enhanced durability and dependable performance \u2013 helping to increase productivity and uptime.<\/p>\n
Designed for heavy duty container handling applications, the series comes standard with an integral mounted spreader capable of handling both 20ft and 40ft ISO and domestic containers. The spreader is said to allow either mechanical or powered pile sloping while providing power slewing, gantry spreader side shift and automatic twistlock functions using four pendular twistlocks that engage containers.<\/p>\n
