Hueneme sees the charging stations as an important step forward in the development of its zero-emission infrastructure and it\u2019s environmental offering to customers.<\/p>\n

Air Quality Management Plan<\/strong><\/p>\n This ready to use infrastructure is in fulfilment of the Ventura County Air Pollution Control District\u2019s (VCAPCD) Air Quality Management Plan and the Port\u2019s Environmental Framework.<\/p>\n They were funded in part through a VCAPCD Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Program grant.<\/p>\n The two stations are located at 333 Ponoma Street and 105 E. Port Hueneme Road in front of the Port\u2019s administrative buildings. Each station has the capability to charge two vehicles at once.<\/p>\n Hueneme’s charging system uses the ChargePoint technology and will fully charge an electric vehicle within four to five hours.
