Alicante advances its green hydrogen strategy

The Port of Alicante has launched a tender for its first renewable hydrogen plant, reinforcing a green roadmap that supports decarbonisation, innovation and long-term competitiveness across port operations.

Approved by the Alicante Port Authority, the tender covers construction and operation of a renewable hydrogen production and supply plant at Berth 19, forming part of the so-called PORTALI-H2 project.
