The world’s first industrial-scale low- and zero-carbon fuel platform is set to launch at Le Havre

Engie is set to develop 24 hectares of land at the Port of Le Havre to create a benchmark platform for alternative fuels.

Part of the Salamandre and France KerEAUzen projects the work includes the development of the Salamandre plant, said to be the world’s first renewable gas production unit based on pyrogasification and methanation technologies for sea transport.
