Both hybrid systems have also demonstrated lower emissions and life cycle maintenance costs. With over 1,000 port prime movers in Singapore, such green solutions can translate into significant gains for our environment.<\/p>\n<p>For the HHD PPM, ST Kinetics signed a MOU with Cargotec to incorporate ST Kinetics\u2019 energy regenerative hyPower HHD systems into Cargotec\u2019s PPMs for sale globally. A MOU was also signed between ST Kinetics and PSA Singapore Terminals (PSA) regarding its intent to trial the hyPower HHD system on a fleet of PSA\u2019s port prime movers.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;PSA is committed to seeking new and environmentally-friendly ways of managing its operations in a sustainable manner.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The Hybrid Hydraulic Drive Port Prime Mover project is a promising step in our concerted efforts towards a greener society. We value our partnership with like-minded partners including ST Kinetics, and look forward to exploring more pro-environment technologies for our terminals while providing shipping customers with continued high service levels.\u201d said SAN Shang Hou, Head of Equipment Engineering, PSA Singapore Terminals.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The launch of the green vehicles is a cumulation of ST Kinetics\u2019 decade long investments in hybrid technologies. Other hybrid vehicles that ST Kinetics had launched include the Hybrid Electric Tow Tractor currently in use at Changi International Airport Terminal 3; the Hybrid Electric Excavator launched in China; and the Ultra Temp Hybrid Refrigerated Truck Body in production in US.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\u201cST Kinetics has been developing electric and hybrid solutions to help address global concerns regarding the environment.
