{"id":2584,"date":"2014-07-21T14:31:00","date_gmt":"2014-07-21T13:31:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/portstrategy.nfdtesting.uk\/greenport-congress\/2014\/07\/21\/world-first-at-zeebrugge\/"},"modified":"2026-08-27T13:39:38","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T12:39:38","slug":"world-first-at-zeebrugge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.portstrategy.com\/greenport-congress\/news\/alternative-fuels-greenport\/world-first-at-zeebrugge\/","title":{"rendered":"World first\u2019 at Zeebrugge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The vessel has been ordered for a planned LNG bunkering business in North Europe and is the first project for a new partnership between GDF Suez, Mitsubishi and NYK, which signed a framework agreement earlier this week to develop the LNG bunkering market through LNG bunkering vessels.<\/p>\n<p>NYK\u2019s tanker will be based at the Port of Zeebrugge in Belgium and will deliver LNG to LNG-fuelled vessels operating mainly in the North Sea and Baltic Sea.
