\u00b7 The pros and cons of becoming more environmentally friendly and the effects on business and society<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Carbon foot printing: measuring and reducing<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Energy reduction in the port area<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Improving efficiency and increasing profitability in ports and terminals<\/p>\n
\u00b7 CSR and green initiatives, the port-city interface and engaging with the community<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Use of LNG as a marine fuel: bunkering, supply and safety<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Solutions for and monitoring of terminals: bulk handling \/container handling\/coal \u2013 air, waste, dust, noise and water monitoring<\/p>\n
Abstracts using case studies relating to international and regional ports and terminals are invited, in particular, papers detailing projects of a highly sensitive environmental nature.<\/p>\n
