{"id":3838,"date":"2011-07-21T16:30:00","date_gmt":"2011-07-21T15:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/portstrategy.nfdtesting.uk\/greenport-congress\/2011\/07\/21\/greenport-cruise-programme-updated\/"},"modified":"2026-08-27T16:01:14","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T15:01:14","slug":"greenport-cruise-programme-updated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.portstrategy.com\/greenport-congress\/news\/news-greenport-congress\/greenport-cruise-programme-updated\/","title":{"rendered":"GreenPort Cruise Programme updated"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Programme for the first <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenport.com\/congress\/greenport-cruise\">GreenPort Cruise Conference<\/a><\/strong>, which will be held on the 13th September 2011 at the Hotel Atlantic Kempinski, Hamburg, Germany, has been updated and is now available to view online by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenport.com\/__data\/assets\/pdf_file\/0031\/529294\/2012-Congress-Programme.pdf\">clicking here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Held in association with <a href=\".\/?a=620580\">Cruise Gateway<\/a> and supported by the <a href=\".\/?a=631772\">European Cruise Council<\/a>, this one day Conference will include sessions on: &#8216;Environmental Certification as a USP for North Sea Region Ports&#8217; and &#8216;Sustainable land-based cruise tourism development in the North Sea Region&#8217;. In addition, delegates will be able to participate in a practical on site technical visit and the Conference will finish with a discussion session on &#8216;Tasks and challenges of Cruise Ports for short- and long-term strategies&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Delegates will be able to choose from the following for the technical on-site visit:<\/p>\n<p>1) Terminal site inspection of the new cruise facilities in Altona, guided by Mr. Joachim K\u00f6hn, Managing Director HanseCC<\/p>\n<p>2) Presentation of the new harbor city area, combined with a short harbor boat trip.
