All the best conferences have multiple reasons to attend beyond the all-important presentations, and next month\u2019s GreenPort Congress at Portsmouth International Port, 7-9 October, is no exception to that golden rule.<\/p>\n
The first day alone packs in a Workshop on Stakeholder Engagement: Turning Challenges into Opportunities, followed later in the afternoon by a behind the scenes Port Tour which will include an up-close look at Portsmouth\u2019s recently commissioned shore power, and then a Harbour Tour showing off the historic port from the water.<\/p>\n
Then the opening day concludes with the Conference Dinner will be held within Portsmouth Historic Dockyard\u2019s Storehouse 11, an 18th-century Grade I listed building which features the Nelson and Princess Royal Galleries featuring reclaimed wood from decommissioned ships.<\/p>\n
Networking opportunities will continue throughout the second day, before the conference concludes with a Technical Tour on the final day with an exclusive visit to BMT\u2019s advanced Digital Innovation and Simulation Centre (DISC) \u2013 a valuable contribution and fitting end to the 21st<\/sup> GreenPort Congress.<\/p>\n
