The operation took around eight hours.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cModern shipping requires modern choices in the ports. KG.<\/p>\n<p>LNG-powered vessels have been able to receive STS bunkering at the Ems Pier since November of 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The Port of Emden has had LNG experience since 2015. <em>MS Ostfriesland<\/em>, the ferry to the Island of Borkum, owned and operated by AG EMS, runs on LNG. Here, the bunkering process is truck-to-ship.
