Roger will be talking about the environmental challenges being faced by shipping companies. This will then be followed by Linden talking about cruise industry&#8217;s uptake of LNG and its role in the transition to low-carbon, non-fossil fuels.<\/p>\n<p>As VP, Global Sustainability Roger leads the Wallenius Wilhelmsen group\u2019s engagement with its diverse array of sustainability stakeholders. The over-arching objective is the same for all; to advance the sustainability agenda, while creating mutual value.<\/p>\n<p>His responsibilities range from representing the Group\u2019s interests in maritime environmental policy, to driving sustainability collaborations with industry partners, customers and innovators. He works to build a \u2018Lean:Green\u2019 sustainability culture in the Group, and also ensures financial stakeholders\u2019 evolving needs are met, including through the Group\u2019s reporting activities.<\/p>\n<p>As Director of Sustainability, Linden aims to ensure that MSC Cruises grows in a sustainable way. In this role, Linden works in collaboration with numerous internal and external partners. She established the Executive Chairman-led Sustainable Advisory Board, responsible for approving actions to meet the sustainability goals of the business and ensuring sustainability is embedded across the entire organisation.<\/p>\n<p>Linden has a solid background in environmental protection and sustainability, with experience both as a consultant and in the corporate environment.
