The company&#8217;s plans to reduce its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, its impact on biodiversity, manage fuel use and to address ballast water difficulties.<\/p>\n<p>David Martin, owner and chair, CSL Sustainability Committee, said: \u201cWe have made it a corporate goal to seek practices and technologies that will enhance our environmental performance. Moreover, we have become a world leader in promoting short sea shipping as a key contributor to economic growth and the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One of the key projects which has helped improve CSL\u2019s footprint was also highlighted \u2013 the renewal of its fleet with seven Trillium class vessels to be delivered in 2012 and 2013.
