The three nominees with ABB systems onboard are Viking Line\u2019s <i>Viking Grace<\/i>, CMA CGM\u2019s <i>Marco Polo<\/i> and Myklebusthaug Management\u2019s <i>Dina Star<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>The world\u2019s first LNG fuelled passenger ship, the <i>Viking Grace<\/i>\u2019s complete electrical power plant and propulsions system were supplied by ABB. It also features ABB\u2019s energy management system, EMMA, which helps manage energy related processes, practices and decisions on the new ferry to use fuel more efficiently during operation.<\/p>\n<p>Myklebusthaug Management\u2019s <i>Dina Star<\/i> also features ABB\u2019s EMMA system and is the first ship to feature its Onboard DC grid systems, which offers up to 20% fuel savings, saved space and improved dynamic response.<\/p>\n<p>CMA CMG\u2019s <i>Marco Polo<\/i> has been equipped with ABB\u2019s advisory system, OCTOPUS for motion forecast and monitoring and heavy weather decision support.
