The floodlight has an output of 41,250 lumens and is designed to replace 1500W HID floodlights. It easily retrofits into existing Phoenix installations.<\/p>\n
Ryan Hertel, global manager for ports and terminals, said: \u201cThe EcoMod 450 expands the potential for terminals to retrofit existing cranes while offering the highest light output to meet the demands of increasing crane heights.\u201d<\/p>\n
Phoenix\u2019s EcoMod 350 floodlight utilises the EcoVent technology which helps to extend the life of the fixture by allowing heat, water and debris to flow between the modules.<\/p>\n
Marine grade extruded aluminium housing and modules, impact and UV-resistant lenses and fully potted drivers have been incorporated into the EcoMod 450.<\/p>\n
The fixture also comes with 20kV of surge protection, a safety cable and offers options for continuous row mounting and customised bolt patterns.<\/p>\n
Phoenix said that LED lighting at a terminal serves a multitude of benefits. The firm said that its EcoMod series uses up to 70% less energy when compared with equivalent HID floodlights.<\/p>\n
But cool white and warm white LED lights allow workers to feel more comfortable and less stressed. They can also withstand high vibration environments better, do not attract as many insects and give off less light pollution.<\/p>\n
LED lights are also easier to dispose of because they don\u2019t contain mercury. The fact that they need less maintenance and have a low failure rate which only adds to the green factor.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
