Iron Road has received a mining lease and development approval for the A$4.5bn Central Eyre Iron Project (CEIP), which is expected to be Australia\u2019s largest magnetite mine, producing an estimated 21.5m tonnes a year for use in making steel.<\/p>\n<p>The South Australian government is committed to developing the 14bn tonnes of magnetite thought to be underground in the state.
