Aimed at energy businesses investing in Scotland, the Scottish Energy Ports Capability Directory provides a searchable database with current technical information on energy ports covering the oil and gas, decommissioning, subsea and renewable sectors.<\/p>\n
Gavin MacKay, head of energy industries at Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE), one of the organisations leading the project, said: \u201cWe already have some world class capabilities in and around our ports and harbours, enabling world leading offshore energy projects such as the Beatrice Offshore Wind Farm and the MeyGen Tidal Array.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis capability directory will further demonstrate the quality port and harbour sites in Scotland, helping to attract and accelerate investment opportunities.\u201d<\/p>\n
26 sites<\/strong><\/p>\n The directory features 26 sites across Scotland and the database allowing users to examine and compare ports using a range of attributes.
