Cruise ship waste<\/strong><\/p>\n At the Cruise conference Adam Sharp, head of port operations & guest port services – Northern Europe, Middle East & India, Royal Caribbean, will give initial feedback from the operators viewpoint on how ports have dealt with The Harmony of the Seas.<\/p>\n With cruise ships continuing to increase in size, it has never been more important for ports to be able to deal with the waste generated by them. In this exclusive presentation, Mr Sharp will give feedback on how ports are dealing with the issue.<\/p>\n Other topics that will be under discussion at the GreenPort Cruise Conference<\/strong> include:<\/p>\n Focusing on renewables<\/strong><\/p>\n Sea wave power plants, electricity generation and cutting carbon emissions will all be under discussion at the event.<\/p>\n The UK port operator, ABP, will discuss how it procures or creates enough green electricity to cover all its own operational needs.
