The hosts of GreenPort 2010, the Ports of Stockholm, will work with the organisers to ensure a varied programme: further details will be announced over the coming months. Earlier this year it was announced that Stockholm was the winner of European Green Capital Award 2010, a new EU initiative. The award marks a city\u2019s wish and capability to solve environmental problems in order to both improve the quality of life of its citizens and reduce the contribution it makes to the global environment as a whole.
