ABP demonstrated its approach to minimising operational impact on the environment, highlighting efforts and investments which have improved the company\u2019s performance and progress against the UN Sustainable Development Goals. ABP was also able to demonstrate its support for sustainable supply chains over many years.<\/p>\n

Renewable energy<\/strong><\/p>\n Seventeen of ABP\u2019s 21 ports have renewable energy generation and in 2019, ABP generated 22GWh of green electricity, 17% more than the previous year. Nearly 19% of the electricity ABP used in 2019 was from on-site renewables with 2.4GWh of renewable electricity used by its customers and 7.2GWh exported to the UK grid.
