{"id":2630,"date":"2022-09-01T10:45:00","date_gmt":"2022-09-01T09:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/portstrategy.nfdtesting.uk\/greenport\/2022\/09\/01\/green-hydrogen-facility-2\/"},"modified":"2026-08-27T13:58:38","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T12:58:38","slug":"green-hydrogen-facility-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.portstrategy.com\/greenport\/news\/alternative-fuels-greenport\/green-hydrogen-facility-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Green hydrogen facility"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The planned site at the Port of Immingham will undergo a transformation including a new jetty to service the handling of liquid bulk products required in the production of hydrogen such as green ammonia, and liquified CO2 from carbon, capture and storage projects ready for sequestration in the North Sea.<\/p>\n<p>The scheme follows on from an existing Air Products\u2019 plan to develop the UK\u2019s largest blue hydrogen facility in Immingham, making the Humber a major location for low carbon energy production, businesses and jobs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cABP and the Humber are at the epicentre of the decarbonisation agenda and we are delighted to work with Air Products on this project, which will help deliver the UK\u2019s legal obligation to be net zero by 2050,\u201d said ABP\u2019s chief executive, Henrik L.
