Putting in place a hydrogen fuelling station at Stockholm Norvik Port, will enable the port to refuel its future fuel work vehicles.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s part of the hydrogen fuel strategy the port group is undertaking to achieve its environmental target of fossil fuel-free truck operations by 2025.<\/p>\n
\u201cHydrogen will play a crucial role in converting to fossil fuel-free transport, both on land and at sea. This hydrogen fuelling station is part of converting our work vehicles to run on hydrogen and is the first step towards achieving Ports of Stockholm\u2019s goal for our work vehicles to operate fossil fuel-free by 2025,\u201d said Johan Wall\u00e9n, CCO Ports of Stockholm.<\/p>\n
Hydrogen strategy<\/strong><\/p>\n Ports of Stockholm\u2019s undertaking will include delivery and operation of this vehicle refuelling station, but it will also include a distribution agreement for hydrogen. The agreement is expected to be in place no later than January 2023.<\/p>\n Investment in hydrogen is part of achieving the Ports of Stockholm\u2019s environmental goal of entirely fossil fuel-free operations by 2030.
