The first-of-its-kind floating storage and regasification unit (FRSU) LNG terminal was officially commissioned in December 2022 following a ten-month construction period.<\/p>\n
Trelleborg will supply its CAT MAX Portable Pilot Units (PPU) and SafePilot Control Unit, which combines the functions of a vessel positioning system (VPS) with a berthing aid system.<\/p>\n

In combination with the CAT MAX PPU on LNG carriers and support vessels, the VPS will provide 360-degree visibility and 6-axis monitoring of all floating assets and serve as a joined-up monitoring system for pilots, tugs, and FSRU.<\/p>\n
It allows operators to analyse the approach, drift, alignment and distance between assets during berthing, ship-to-ship transfers, and buoy loading and unloading.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
