We\u2019ve had great success with our three existing hybrids, which are around 25% more fuel efficient than our diesel-electric fleet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reliable choice<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tauranga&nbsp;purchased its first Kalmar straddle carriers back in 2000 and those machines are still fully functional after 22 years. It also added to the fleet with&nbsp;three hybrid models purchased in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a loyal Kalmar customer of over 20 years, Kalmar is very pleased to continue our collaboration with the Port of Tauranga\u201d said&nbsp;Allan M.
