For these activities, expected to continue into 2020, Boskalis will deploy a medium-sized trailing suction hopper dredger, cutter suction dredger, backhoe dredger and a crane barge.<\/p>\n<p>Following a Final Investment Decision (FID) for the facility, Andy Calitz, CEO of LNG Canada, said: \u201cThis decision showcases how industrial development can co-exist with environmental stewardship and Indigenous interests.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Rt. Hon. Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada said the project \u201crepresents the single largest private sector investment project in Canadian history.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Boskalis was involved from the early stages of the development, illustrating the early cyclical exposure dredging has on green field LNG developments.<\/p>\n<p>LNG Canada is a joint venture comprised of Royal Dutch Shell, Petronas, PetroChina, Mitsubishi and Korea Gas Corporation.
