The units enable dramatic reduction of local air and noise pollution at ports, says Cavotec, minimising vessels\u2019 environmental impact.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re very pleased to receive this repeat order which is based on our successful co-operation with the customer over the last few years,\u201d said Patrick Mares, president of the Ports &amp; Maritime Division at Cavotec.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe look forward to helping more ships in the world switch off their auxiliary generators and contributing to improved air quality and reduced noise.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ports around the world have used Cavotec shore power solutions since the 1980s.
