The beginning of bunkering operations at the port marks a milestone for the Autoridad Portuaria de la Bahia de Algeciras (APBA), which will now be able to provide lower carbon solutions to the growing number of LNG powered vessels joining the global fleet.<\/p>\n

Branching out<\/strong><\/p>\n Peninsula began LNG bunkering operations in the west Med in November 2023 when it supplied Royal Caribbean Group\u2019s cruise vessel Silver Nova with the fuel in Gibraltar.<\/p>\n The supply operation was carried out by Peninsula\u2019s latest addition to its fleet, the 12,500m3 LNG supply vessel, Levante LNG.
