Small-scale liquid hydrogen storage is under development and several hydrogen-related projects have been scheduled.

The port said that the collaboration will make it possible to create new small chains for these alternatives before rolling them out on a large scale. It will act as a blueprint for supply chains as well as other, larger, airports such as Schiphol in Amsterdam.

As part of the partnership, the two have begun a study into the volume expectations towards 2050 and scheduled the first pilot cases. These will take place at the airport as part of the DutcH₂ Aviation Hub hydrogen programme.

The partners are also looking for partners to validate these expectations and further develop the supply chains. Parties who can contribute to this are invited to contact RTHA and/or the Port of Rotterdam Authority.

[7,34
40,1610,10,152,1611

post-4326","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-alternative-fuels-greenport","category-europe-greenport","tag-alternative-fuels","tag-aviation-fuel","tag-hydrogen","tag-port-of-rotterdam","tag-saf
["GET
