The five new cranes, which include remote-control capabilities, are part of a 17-crane order from Konecranes of Finland, reflecting the port\u2019s commitment to modernising its equipment and reducing carbon emissions.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese new cranes are the latest stage of our drive to deliver a first-class customer service and remove carbon from our operations. We have set an ambitious target to reach Net-Zero for scopes 1 & 2 by 2035,\u201d said Robert Ashton, chief operating officer of the Port of Felixstowe.<\/p>\n
