Efficient operations<\/strong><\/p>\n Designed with the help of Robert Allan Ltd, the tug will be 34.9 metres long, deliver 85 tonnes of bollard pull and reach speeds of 14 knots.<\/p>\n It will complete more than 90% of operations using battery power, reducing the environmental impact and ensuring efficient operations in the Port of Gothenburg.<\/p>\n Gareth Prowse, head of decarbonisation at Svitzer, said: \u201cThis new build is a significant milestone in our decarbonisation journey. It enables us to deliver low-emission services while maintaining high safety and operational standards.\u201d<\/p>\n This innovative port vessel will contribute to Gothenburg\u2019s ambition of becoming the world\u2019s most sustainable port.
