This partnership will explore how we can apply hydrogen fuel-cell technology and green hydrogen fuels to start decarbonising the Island\u2019s maritime industry,\u201d said&nbsp;Phil Sharp, CEO of OceansLab.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hydrogen accelerator<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The internship is open to Jersey students and early-career professionals, the internship reflects Ports of Jersey\u2019s commitment to decarbonisation and sustainable port infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>The two-month paid internship, based at OceansLab\u2019s headquarters in La Rochelle, France, offers a comprehensive introduction to hydrogen technologies, including fuel cells, production, storage and applications in marine transportation.<\/p>\n<p>Interns will also gain insights into regulatory frameworks and challenges, equipping them with the skills to drive sustainability in the marine sector.<\/p>\n<p>Matt Thomas, CEO of Ports of Jersey, added: \u201cIt\u2019s our responsibility to work towards sustainable, decarbonised travel.
