Wind connection<\/strong><\/p>\n The Ostwind 4 project will connect Baltic Sea wind farms to the German grid via High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) technology, marking the country\u2019s first use of 525 kV HVDC systems in the Baltic region.<\/p>\n Drydocks World will lead the engineering, procurement and construction of offshore converter stations, fabricating advanced topsides at its Dubai facility.<\/p>\n Once completed, the platform will be transported and installed in German waters.<\/p>\n The project will also include onshore and offshore converter stations and a 110 km cable system, setting new standards for renewable energy infrastructure.
