Fuel manufacture<\/strong><\/p>\n Terra Mater will utilise its proprietary 2X alcohol-to-jet technology, developed in Ghent, to develop SAF and other sustainable fuels during the venture.<\/p>\n The three parties signed an agreement in S\u00e3o Paulo as part of the Belgian economic mission currently visiting Brazil on 26 November.<\/p>\n This agreement will strengthen the already close ties between North Sea Port and Brazil going forward.<\/p>\n North Sea Port is actively promoting the production of alternative fuels as a business strategy.<\/p>\n Last month it reported that LBC Tank Terminals completed the full acquisition of Evolution Terminals in Vlissingen. The operator is looking to further develop its new facility into a hub for the storage and distribution of sustainable products for the energy transition, aligning perfectly with North Sea Port\u2019s ambitions.<\/p>\n LBC is investing in the construction of a new terminal designed for handling and storing sustainable products that drive the energy transition, such as green hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, biofuels and CO2.<\/p>\n The ultramodern terminal will be located near the entrance to Sloehaven in Vlissingen, offering access to deepwater facilities.
