Funded by the Dutch Maritime Master Plan, the project seeks to introduce hydrogen as a clean energy source by retrofitting a river cruise vessel with a modular hydrogen and battery-electric drivetrain.<\/p>\n
With over 420 vessels operating in Europe, the river cruise sector faces mounting pressure due to stricter emissions regulations in cities like Amsterdam, Vienna and Basel. It is hoped this project could lead to large-scale hydrogen adoption across the sector.<\/p>\n

Zepp.solutions will provide its X150 fuel cell modules, delivering over 1MW of power, a system already proven in heavy-duty sectors such as hydrogen-powered trucks.<\/p>\n
