The proposed Barrow EnergyDock at the Port of Barrow will see solar panels deployed on floating pontoons in Cavendish Dock, generating up to 40MWp of solar power – enough to supply around 14,000 homes annually. <\/p>\n

Sustainability boost<\/strong><\/p>\n This renewable energy will mainly support Barrow\u2019s advanced engineering sector, helping control electricity costs and boosting sustainability.<\/p>\n Barrow EnergyDock\u2019s floating solar array will consist of approximately 47,000 solar panels, covering a third of Cavendish Dock\u2019s water area.
