SeaStack\u2019s innovative design could cut costs and emissions, supporting offshore renewables.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHuge thanks to our team and the HydroPort consortium for winning this substantial grant,\u201d said Frazer Ely, CEO of Latent Drive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeaStack has the potential to revolutionise clean hydrogen production in a global market projected to reach $642 billion by 2030.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Renewables hub<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Dorset coast in the UK is emerging as a renewables hub, with up to 2GW of offshore wind planned through a partnership between Source Galileo and PortWind. The region also offers vast hydrogen storage potential, essential for decarbonising marine fuels.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.erm.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ERM<\/a>, the advisory firm focused solely on sustainability, recently issued an independent report analysing the overall hydrogen market, green hydrogen from wind and resulting opportunities for SeaStack.<\/p>\n<p>The report highlights SeaStack\u2019s cost advantages and sustainability benefits, positioning it as a solution to grid congestion and water scarcity.
