The collaboration focuses on supporting the S\u00f8rlige Nordsj\u00f8 II (SNII) project, Norway\u2019s first major offshore wind farm on the continental shelf, projected to host 60 \u2013100 turbines with a total capacity of 1.5 GW.<\/p>\n

Located in Mandal, WindPort is transitioning from its oil and gas roots to become a key hub for offshore wind.<\/p>\n
With around 200,000 square metres of space \u2013 expandable to 1 million \u2013 its deep-water, obstruction-free port is ideally suited for large offshore wind vessels. Its strategic location near SNII adds to its value as a marshalling port and logistics centre.<\/p>\n
Port Esbjerg brings decades of experience in handling large offshore wind installations. The partnership centres on joint project development, quay design, logistics, sustainable practices and fuel technologies.<\/p>\n
The agreement represents a significant step in Norway\u2019s green energy shift and in WindPort\u2019s ambition to become the central hub for SNII.<\/p>\n
