Ardent Energy, a leading UK and Netherlands producer of waste-based biodiesel, insists that postponed regulation must not translate into stalled progress.<\/p>\n
It said that the the industry already has viable alternative fuels that can deliver meaningful emissions reductions today.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe industry must not stand still,\u201d said Dickon Posnett, corporate affairs director at Argent Energy.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe IMO\u2019s efforts remain vital, but regulatory delays should not deter shipping companies from acting now. Solutions exist now. Companies can act now.\u201d<\/p>\n
