APM Terminals Suape has received 28 fully electrified Sany equipment units at the Governador Eraldo Gueiros Industrial and Port Complex in Pernambuco, Brazil, enabling the terminal to advance into the final technical stage before operations begin in the second half of 2026.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a crucial milestone for the project, which now enters the final stage of building the terminal\u2019s main infrastructure,\u201d said Daniel Rose, managing director of APM Terminals Suape and Pec\u00e9m.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe terminal will strengthen the efficiency, safety, and logistics competitiveness of Pernambuco and the entire Northeast region. This consolidates APM Terminals Suape as one of the most significant recent private investments in the region\u2019s port infrastructure.\u201d<\/p>\n
