The programme aims to deliver immediate, measurable reductions in Scope 3 shipping emissions across key trade lanes while supporting broader green logistics strategies.<\/p>\n

Carbon credits<\/strong><\/p>\n Qualifying importers and exporters shipping at least 25 teus per quarter will receive carbon inset credits equal to 100kg of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) per container shipped, at no additional cost.<\/p>\n Credits will be issued quarterly and can help companies account for emissions reductions generated within their own supply chains. <\/p>\n Unlike traditional offsets, carbon insets reduce shipping emissions directly within the logistics value chain through lower-carbon fuels and more efficient transport operations.<\/p>\n The credits used in the programme are generated through lower-carbon fuel deployment by DP World subsidiary DP World Shipping Solutions.<\/p>\n
