{"id":6358,"date":"2026-05-21T09:12:00","date_gmt":"2026-05-21T08:12:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/portstrategy.nfdtesting.uk\/greenport\/2026\/05\/21\/launch2-targets-hydrogen-supply-chain\/"},"modified":"2026-08-27T14:22:39","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T13:22:39","slug":"launch2-targets-hydrogen-supply-chain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.portstrategy.com\/greenport\/news\/projects-initiatives-greenport\/launch2-targets-hydrogen-supply-chain\/","title":{"rendered":"LAUNCH2 targets hydrogen supply chain"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.launch2.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">LAUNCH2<\/a> alliance was unveiled during the World Hydrogen Summit &amp; Exhibition 2026 in Rotterdam, bringing together the Port of Rotterdam Authority, the municipalities of Rotterdam and Schiedam, the Province of South Holland, InnovationQuarter, TU Delft, TNO and Smart Delta Drechtsteden.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s an initiative which aims to support companies developing projects across the hydrogen supply chain by improving access to knowledge, testing facilities, partners and port infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Better network<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>LAUNCH2 has been established to strengthen the regional hydrogen network and accelerate the wider energy transition in the Rotterdam port cluster.<\/p>\n<p>The programme will connect companies, public authorities and knowledge institutions while supporting innovation and industrial scale-up projects designed to reinforce Rotterdam\u2019s position as a European hydrogen hub.<\/p>\n<p>Among the projects already supported through the initiative is the FLIE-SubZero Rotterdam pilot hall for industrial electrification.
