The new suite combines supply chain optimisation, carbon insetting, emissions management tools and strategic partnerships to support customers facing increasing ESG pressures, tightening regulation and growing scrutiny over logistics-related emissions.<\/p>\n

Optimising efficiency<\/strong><\/p>\n The EcoRoute platform also includes lower carbon logistics solutions through modal shift programmes, alternative fuel transport, electric mobility and lower-emission warehousing.<\/p>\n It also incorporates an emissions management capability through DP World\u2019s Carbon Emissions Calculator, powered by EcoTransIT World and aligned with ISO 14083 standards, providing customers with end-to-end visibility across transport modes and helping identify further emissions reduction opportunities.<\/p>\n DP World said its Logistics Control Tower solution in Africa helped a major retailer increase transported volumes by 45% while expanding fleet size by only 5%, improving vehicle utilisation and overall supply chain resilience<\/p>\n In India, it helped a customer reduce transport emissions by 78% on the Chennai\u2013Kolkata corridor by shifting freight from road to a multimodal rail and coastal shipping solution, while also improving reliability and reducing logistics costs.<\/p>\n A key component of the initiative is its carbon insetting programme, aimed at reducing Scope 3 emissions within customer supply chains.<\/p>\n
