The change was the result of consultation with potential bidders,all of whom lobbied for the reduction.<\/p>\n<p>Among those interested in the concession are the Transagent consortium, Inversiones Cosmos\/ HHLA, SAAM, ICTSI and the AGCWilport consortium. In addition, Corporaci\u00f3n Am\u00e9rica and Empresas Navieras are interested in participating as investors, but not operators.<\/p>\n<p>The concession will be for 20 years and require investment of $110m. The container terminal at the port, which handled 117,000 teu last year, is expected to benefit from privatesector know-how.
